Titanium holds an engraving more crisply than gold and will not wear soft. Cut in reverse by hand, never lasered, so the seal it leaves is genuinely yours.

About this piece

Gold signets wear smooth. That is the romance of them — a hundred years of handshakes softening an edge — but it also means the seal degrades. Grade 5 titanium does not. It takes an engraved line with a crispness gold cannot hold and keeps it indefinitely.

The face is cut in reverse by hand rather than lasered. A laser produces a uniform depth and a slightly glassy floor; a graver leaves varying depth and a bright cut that catches light. The difference is invisible on screen and obvious in wax.

Engraving is included. Send a monogram, a crest, or a mark of your own and we will cut a proof in wax before touching the ring.
